Hello, Some of you may have seen my first build on the RZ/RD forum in the states. It started out as a pretty much stock 85' RZ 350 with some jetting and Toomeys, then morphed into what it is now. It's got a 99' R1 front end on it. And a VJ 23 swinger on the rear. I got the running gear swapped out over the winter, put about 300 miles on it then the motor let go. So I gave Roger @ Wicked Motorsports a call and ordered up his 421cc Athena kit with his new billet head. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, just have to get the jetting a little closer and install the up-rated oil pump that "Arrow" is building for me.
Charlie
It all started here.
Ready for the first test ride. After I had the wheels powercoated.
Then came the new motor!!
Added a R6 fan for more cooling.
The bike runs and handles great!! It was well worth the effort.
Here's a short video too.

Looks like you're still running the oil pump on the Athena, is that so? Cylinder head is nice, much more convenient for running a stat than the Athena head, sadly wasn't available when I bought my kit.

Right now I have it shimmed to .014" until my uprated pump shows up from Gary (Arrow on these boards). I love the new head too, the bike runs a lot cooler now.

what sort of power would you be looking at? 72bhp Maybe. I'm running jetted stock carbs for now. I hope to upgrade to new ones in the future, which should get me some more HP.
