I don't like it...I love it! Especially the swinging arm (or should that be Swingarm in American)
And he built it for under $1000 (about six hundred quid) and in 30 days, I'd love to see someone manage that in the UK!

I look at it and think "Stick with your butt ugly Harleys" because they've ruined that bike!

I can forgive the fact that the Americans destroy the English language but to to do this to a RD400 is just sacrilege! Wow what a project, I would love that bike ! Mind you being a realist and on reflection, I suppose it would take me a while to source all the standard bits but once finished it would be a beauty ! Yanks don't you just love them......do you think it was done out of revenge for Pearl harbour ? sorry Harbor ! Can't see him riding it all that well, what with the tassled straitjacket with matching chaps an all........

The Rake and wheelbase length on that thing would mean you would have to start cornering half mile away lol

The Americans just love long bikes - but what is the point of a lightweight 2 stroke that you cant chuck round corners? Absolutely no point at all. You beat me to it. Surely, most two stroke riders would argue for the affirmative - "straights are the boring bits"? I suspect that, if one got it to a curve, it may just want to fall over. They've spent heaps on it but not finished it before the photo shoot? Heaps of time, if not cash.

Would get more looks than a mint standard bike but in my opinion for the wrong reasons.

Good to draw attention and fool the ignorants into thinking it's quite fast but we all know that it will ride like crap, be uncomfortable and unable to turn or brake, basically they took all the fun out of a 2 stroke.
Why don't they stick to harleys, they always do the same things no matter what the base bike is. I have yet to see a home built American bike that is about performance and without the usual myriad of overpriced shinny bits, often over-engineered and pointless.Well, if one considers pointless the kind of attention those things usually draw.Extravaganza
