Today I fitted a Dynatec Coil & Iridium spark plugs to my stock RD250LC, the bike was stock set up, so I could not wait to road test, its been running very good as it is, old plugs were a nice tan, so made a mini loom to the new coil, fitted new copper leads and the iridium plugs... she started first kick went for a 40 mile ride and this is what I thought..... WOW the difference is like a mild tune, revs much more free, the small bog down before the band has almost gone, and once in the band the engine tone is like "rev me more" and it keeps going, was pulling almost a ton, unreal cause just got up there so quick and was still going, and its only a 250..damn...I'm sold, old coils going in the bin, new coils are the way forward, and it fitted real nice, kept coil cover and straight in the original holes....easy..

I got round to buying a new multplug and wired up the banshee coils bought from Norbo I had no choice but to use a blue connector for the earth point but given it's actually the same red wire but covered in heat shrink and will be covered by the tank I'm not going to loose too much sleep!! Fitted my £9 ebay bargain radiator cover that I've just had completely power coated black. Now it's a week off until the wheels come back from the paint shop..... (The coils did end up being straightened before I did the bolts up tight!)

Resto wouldnt start, realised I only put 3Lts premix in tank, stuck another 5Lts in and started first kick and left it to go through another heat cycle. Nothing on mine as it dosnt need anything doing.
