Prices have already started to go up for taking the vans to france. 10 days ago it was £150 for Dover to Dunkirk, Just checked now and it is £210 Priced the Chunnel and It is £103.40, this is priced for my vivaro van, you have to put the lengh and the height of the van, mine is 4.78 m long and 1.96m high Times for this crossing are depart folkestone on wednesday3rd of july at 12.50 arriving 14.25 local time Return would be depart 1950 and arrive 19.25 local time. so what does everyone think?,

The tunnel is much quicker but the boat has more of a sense of occasion to it, you can relax, eat comfortably , wander around and have a crack with the boys.
The ferry is usually a lot cheaper than the tunnel from all my previous experience BUT if you collect TESCO clubcard points, you can put these towards the cost of the tunnel, I did that twice in 2011, paid for 2 crossings in full, which was a great saving in peak Summer.
