My current diesels-SRAD and Hayabusa

Decided to take the SRAD off the road today and give it its Winter deep clean (which was a lot better than the home "E Learning" courses I should have been doing), looks like frost by the weekend and I dont like washing bikes in the cold.

I did similar to the Busa last month, roll on Spring 2013 and adding the LC to the collection!

Cant beat a decent SRAD for the money, they still go, stop, steer and handle brilliantly, had a lot of fun on it this year, I bought it around this time last year in fact and its proved to be a great buy.

You either like Busas or you dont , I love mine, had one back in 2003 and when this one come up in 2010 after id written off my GSXR1000, I had to have it, didnt like the paintscheme at all back in the day but I love it now

Both nice and clean there - how longs it take you? My R1 gets a yearly special scrub too but it takes all day.

About 7 hours mate, excluding the fairings, I do them the day before, takes me about a day to do both bikes fairings, then ill strip odds and sods off them during the Winter for another clean/inspection, like the wheels/brakes.

Its a bit of a curse really but I like them just so, as I know a lot of people on here do!

I have a feeling by the time ive got the LC home, I wont have time in my life for unimportant tasks like work, kids, family etc etc..

I may miss all that a tad...may !

never rode a gixxer 750 but there meant to be a perfect balance between power and handling. busas tidy too mind. had a couple of 12r,s in the past. mental!! enjoy!

Thats just how I keep my bikes, a lot of work but very rewarding and a good excuse to avoid all those bloody soaps and retreat into the garage too

I had a K7 1000 previously and im no slower around the twisty bits on the SRAD.

Im glad im with kindred spirits anyway, well cleaned but well used.

Time to pop it all back together , my local Suzuki dealer is doing a Winter servicing package, which after some haggling and chopping of the menu, I went for on both bikes.

Oil/filter and coolant change done on the Busa today, the SRAD was taken away for the same, be back on Monday.

Lol...I like them but its still unopened in its box, something inside stops me from fitting it...possibly because its in the loft and im lazy...

Very thorough job, must do the same to my ZX7R. Those SRADS certainly do handle. Cheers Nick.
