We set off to get there but had an incident on the way. Lad in front on his R1 was skittled on the entrance to a roundabout by another lad on his Ducati Streetfighter.
Too grands worth of damage to th'R1, unknown as yet to the Duke, but worst of all, Andy on the Duke boned his finger and is awaiting plastic surgery tomorrow.
Not a good day.

Cheers Paul, What me sad (angry?) is that the two cars that were following us didn't stop to help. One slowed down to watch me trying to drag the bikes off the lads but no offer of help. Even when I had my pal sat down and I was trying to bandage his hand with a neck warmer the rubber neckers never stopped or asked if we were ok. On a downer over it all to be honest, its awful when it happens right in front of you.  |
