Well, I've fancied one of these for a while now, hadn't looked at any, but wanted an early version, so when I saw this, instinct took over .. First big four cylinder I've had for a long time now, it's a heavy old bus compared to my strokers.

Lovely I've always got half an eye out for either a 750 or 1100 Slabby ;D In-fact, when you're bored of it, give me a shout ;D

From crate to race wins in no time at all, afordable for mere mortals and redefined bikes again. Just like LCs! I'd love one but my wrists wont take it. Keep hold of it!

what a find! thats got to be one of the best first f models i have seen lc bot its clearly been looked after it big time! and its still got its orginal cheesegrater exhaust on thats rare, keep a hold of it, bet the first ones will rocket in value in years to come. sadly most of them got made into streetfighters which is a shame, nice to see one looking nice and orginal!

Yes thanks all, did a bit of research before I bought it as there are a few difference in the first one (as you prob know). Was bought as a speculative investment, but been out on it a few time, thought it was a duffer at first, cos it was stuck in fourth gear, but then realised after I'd stopped and checked the linkages it had gone through the box so quickly I was actually in 6th It's not as mint as it looks in the pics though, but exhaust does look quite good, also came with a full Yoshi system, which I might fit to save this rare original one.

Are early 750 super sports the next lc ? No one knows, but they are a good price at the moment, and just like an LC, it's trying to find a good one if you don't want a resto job, fairings are nigh on impossible to find, as is the exhaust I believe (sounds familiar Also fancied an original 98 R1 or Ducati 916, but run out of room. Thankfully, I had already run out of money.
