hi i am quite new to this site , i am building a few bikes at the moment , an rd 250 air cooled hybrid mono shocked and yzf r bits and two gsxr 750 and a standard ish rd 250 e ---------------------------------------------------------------------- i call it my ebay mixer , colour scheme was done by the cartoon guy vizman from streetfighter magazine few bits bought and

i have a vfr 750 rear swingarm going in this with triumph rear wheel spindle and a bit of engineering to get round , this was last night as it is on my tool trolley , all being done on a tight and i do meen tight budjet , have to find some thing to sell all the time , but thats the fun part honest

bought an abm top yoke from the e bay , for a zx6r for cheap money theyusually sell for £135 got mine for under £50 delivered . then worked out that it needed some surgery ... and the end result is

i am happy with the results , so onwards and upwards now on to the rear suspension linkage , no case hardened bushes arrived with the rear suspension knuckle .....

when my mk2 bandit clocks showed up i had no way of testing them , now i am further down the electrical road , look at my surprise that awaited me .......... dont think we would be buying a bike with that milage

so i had a phone round some car garages for an expert in "digital milage correction " and this is now a much more pleasent milage the guy had to do the mod twice as he tried to put a 300 mile reeding in . i want to build this bike ready for end of september as its going to be my daily ride .

; i like! .i run a fightered 11 myself,had it ten years never seized and i use it every day.i run the same clocks on mine never had a problem running bandit pick-up off front sprocket.i've a turbo ready to fit to mine.keep up the good work.

thanks norbo for your kind words, i got me carbs from a mate the other day vm29 flatsldes , stripped and cleaned them , blew out all the jets .soaked them in carb cleaner for a few hours fitted them and to my utter shock it fired into life ..... ;D then my new £25 worth of semi synthetic oil filled the floor of my garage as the oil cooler pipe split, bl**dy diesels never mind at least its running and ticking over sweet ,my mate made a couple of blanks so we could run bike with out oil cooler little lathe has paid for its self over and again

had to change clocks as the bandit , clocks didnt go with the headlight ... oh well on to the next challenge rear disc is wrong so e bay too the rescue i hope

many thanks gents , i am happy its a runner after all , every one says "from running bike" when asked if engine is ok , this had a few little gremlins but nothing to serious starter clutch and few oil issues . now on ward towards weekend mot.....

updated now finished waiting for mot slot happy with how its turned out , few months i will do the frame satin black powder coat and pain t the engine if its a good one . if not fit a bandit 1200 engine . thanks for looking busa ash

thanks bill , the best advice on a special build.useing 5 diffrent bike makers get a lathe or a mate who has one ;D i can also advise set budjet then add £1000 ;D ;D
