engine doesn't look to bad not been rebored at any time either which ties in with the millage on the clocks
where we are up to at the mo ready for powder coating
Got the frame back from the powder coaters gonna have to take some pictures it amazed me today how good the 350 lc engine actually is in comparrison to my 250 lc really overjoyed since stripping it that the millage on the clocks seems to check out with the engine condition she truly is a minter a propper diamond in the ruff well to me anyway haha ^_^
still on the hunt for a set of exhaust for it taking forever to find a set
going to start putting her together soon with a few nice bits on it
dug out a cylinder for it just gotta get hold of a left hander now
bit of cleaning and fitted one of the hangers whipped the polish of the frame to lol gonna be making a lot of progress on this one over the next few weeks
as she stands now need to find someone to reproduce the decals get the paint matched so I can spray a new side panel and forks going on also this week, taking the callipers and master cylinder of mine as Im going to fit F2 stuff on my other 350 progress
just about mate lmfao haha actually got it in about 06 LOL so long time coming hahaha weird how the first one has took the longest lol
hoping to have it together in the next few weeks or so searching through all the boxes to see what I can use the loom is toast so gonna try one of these pattern jobs oh the joys
need to get the usuall culprits gear shaft selector seal is goosed
trying to decide what to do about the crank had a look at the bottom end tonight the engine seals all look mint I really think the engine did nearly no miles originally pinched a lot of parts for my other 350 in the rush to get that going for oulton in 2013 lol
need to find one of those shims for the kickstart idle gear,
big order going in with Norbo tomorrow just trying to decide what to do crank wise it actually looks ok but its been sat in the cases since 06, so going to split them tomorrow night and see what the crack is
its measuring up at 35mm between the rods an mains never really had to deal with cranks does anyone know how to tell if anything else is trashed on them? would usually just replace but cost is an issue so If I can save some on that I will
Well finally decided it's time to get cracking on the 350 lc that started the obsession
Got a new crank ready to fit. Set of cylinders on the way cheers to Steve for letting me know where a set was.
writing up another long list to send to our main man Norbo of some more bits to get it going.
Built the forks up nos set of stanchions really good green bottom yoke.
Nos wiring loom fitted
Hagon shock fitted that I had on one of the 250 Lc's.
Finished the days progress just before it went dark haha
Next plan is to get the cylinders off for rebore an start to get the bottom end built up an fit the new old stock clocks I've got sat in some boxes feels sorta a shame to use them haha but things are meant to be used.
