We set off the meet the others at Rownhams services





No sign of the Essex boys Martin and Gazz but then I found there bikes.


Then I found them



09.30 set off to meet DJames at Lyndhurst then of to Lepe beach.






We then took the coastal road into Lymington via Beaulieu then Milford on sea, Barton on sea and then to sammy Miller motorcycle museum for snacks.



Had a problem starting one bike so had to bump it and it finaly started.
Then off to get some fuel.

Then we set off on the faster roads to Shaftsbury





Then down Zig Zag hill, a mix of down hill hairpins, Del has the photos.


Then off to Fovant badges.






15 bike turn out for the Good friday run, 136 miles from the services.
It was a bit chilly but no rain all day and plenty of sunshine.
There nothing better than going for a ride with others.
Thanks for turning out lads, especialy Marnew and Gazzatt2 coming all the way from Essex.


What made my day was beating a SV1000 from the lights on the way home.
I out cornered him after leaving him at the lights and he almost hit a barrier, we kicked his arse good and proper on 30 year old bikes.

I was leading so could not smell the 2 stroke smoke but it was very hazy in my mirrors.

That SV rider was crap, he should of pooped us really but he was frightened to lean it over, he very nearly crashed into a motorway barrier.

This was one of the best rides I have been on, it all went prefect and Gazz rode nearly 500 miles on that pld yellow RD400 Aircooled.

Looks like a good turn out mate and cold it may have been but no rain thats the most importent thing . I wish i could have made it down.

Far to fast for you mate, we went over 45MPH
