was having a look at that before on ebay looks like he has spent some money on getting everything powder coated and painted to a good standard, you just need a haynes now and some time to put her back together and will have a lovely 400 there! goodluck with it!  |

cheers bubba, he has a haynes manual he is giving me, and need exhausts for it, but they are rare as hens teeth, so might have to have some made

theres a place near me, called road and dirt performance bikes, they need your bike in there shop and make the pipes tailored to the bike, for £400, also going to ring gibsons see how much for a set of small can allspeeds, they are making a set for my 350lc at the moment, do you think they will give me a discount on a second set?

I was also watching this.
Looks like alot of work done and done well.
Exhausts do come up and I was offered a set for £600 that need chroming,(there still available) if you want some made then Martin Newlyn makes some real nice pipes.
I think you have done OK with that, is definatly an E model, send me the frame number if your not sure and I will look it up for you.

Looks a good project.....Yep exhausts are very hard to find, esp the rubber link boots from downpipe to exhaust......Had homemade ones on mine,r/h/s one came to bits doing around 70, resulting in quite a large fright and a lotta scraping!......Good luck with the build.

i have found the rubbers and the down pipes, its just the exhausts i cant find, the hunt continues

Rubbers are available at Yambits and they are a very good copy.
