lc kid,rd500 is bulky and ponderous compared to a gamma 5,gamma is much more quicker, but no way is it a better bike to the rd500.as u say, smoother, nicer handleing, better spread of power, and imo better put together and looking.but i would"nt kick a gamma 5 outa bed!!!!!! a threesome with both would be even better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tis true BUT out of all my bikes my Kawasaki H1A500 with Higgspeeds is totally mental, A totally insane wild machine easily the most exciting bike i own

Sorry for being a bit late.
I have owned 19 Indian AC RDs, besides other bikes here in India. Now, I have these only -
1] Yamaha RD250 - 3M3 model - a Daytona Special lookalike 2] Yamaha RD350LC - 4L0-01 model ...to be restored 3] Yamaha RD250LC - 4L3 model 4] Yamaha RD250LC YPVS - 51L model 5] Yamaha R1Z - 3XC model 6] Honda CB400SF Version S 7] Yamaha RD350 - the Indian version
Mates, you can well imagine the difficulties I had to encounter in getting these bikes besides restoring them too, as, none of these bikes excepting the Indian RD was produced in India.

Only 2. 1st one cost £250 & I raced it for 2yrs (it was immaculate when I got it). Sold it to buy Mike Edwards RG250 (still got it). Bought a 02 reg 250 LC last year.

Had my first 350lc when i was 18.it was a dog when i bortit, but by fuk did it run sweet.ex track bike.i rode it for cupla yrs as it was then decided to tart it up,and do away wiv the spacer beneath the barrels.looked gd,but ran lika sak o shit for about 10 miles when it melted a piston to the head due to detonation.crank was sent off,an never returned.lc followed me in boxes for 20 yrs, shipped from pillar to post,we now nr to being on road again.just few bits to sort, and tank and panels, and wheel be away.

I'm on my first LC (YPVS N2). Never had one back in the day: I had a chioce between a 350LC and a GPz305 after I passed my test and my instructor told be I wouldn't be able to afford the fuel for the 2 stroke (b*****d!) The GPz was still good fun until the chocolate cams kicked in and the engine died (following 2 years of thrashing) Had an FZR600R after that (following more Kwaks & a Honda) and have always like Yams Looking forward to the first ever ride of my N2... soon... i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y329/Phil381/YPVS/6344b951.jpg
