Well, after 5 months of messing, several hours on the dyno a melted piston (my fault  ) and a few £'s it's all done and finished. I started with 45bhp on a dynopro dyno (52bhp on a dynojet, so make your own mind up what my peak power is now!) Ended up with 70.8bhp @ 9600rpm and 38.7ft/lbs torque @ 9400rpm Stock drilled airbox with stock filter, stock carbs too! Full spec at the bottom. Thanks to Kenny at TSA, Glyn at GPL racing, and Kev at dynopro! Ianboom. Spec: RD350YPVS F2 barrels with 1.00mm over bore Mick Abbey fast road tune 50 degree thermostat GPL racing O ringed head TSA stainless road pipes with short carbon cans Stock 26mm Mikunis with 290 left main jet, 280 right main jet. Stock air box/filter with snorkel removed and drilled air box lid Zeeltronic PCD-10V Ignition, power valve controller Stock unwelded crank

Can I ask how you determined the offset in jetting?
thinking on me feet - associated to temp? possibly anomalies in vent gas temp (i.e expansion chamber variance)?

With an O2 sensor in each pipe, left hand pot was running a little leaner until I changed the jet.

Any idea of O2 accuracy calibration percentage?

Nope none at all ;D that's why I pay someone to operate the dyno. All I do know is in one can it read fine, in the other it was weak, changed the jetting to get the readings similar and got a little more power. Didn't get the stinging eyes, so it's not weak!

Had 2 sets of chambers, ms and stainless, both the same. Difference is probably in the porting, this is why any tuner worth their weight will tell you to treat both pots as separate motors.

I still look at it and I cant believe how straight the curve is and it pulled well from 3000rpm on the dyno too and in a straight line to boot I was absolutely gobsmacked with how this thing pulled it was so crisp We did a few tests too and found the stainless steel and the mild steel pipes were identical within .5bhp of each other and peaked at the same rpm. We also found that no matter what we did to the PV in the zeel it made no difference to the curve if we set the closed position at 105degrees BTDC or 93 degrees BTDC or if we shifted the opening time from 4000rpm to 5500rpm

Stunning bike with amazing results, well done to all involved and a big pat on the back.
Now how does she feel on the road, pull, spread of power etc, how does it compare to other RD's you have built and rode.

Thanks for all the positive comments, if anybody wants to know any specs or advice, drop me a line. I haven't ridden it on the road yet The headlamp bracket was a prototype and has been sent off to have the real thing made from billet ally, so I can't ride the bike at the moment!! Rode it before the last dyno session with around 65bhp, it was trying to lift the wheel in second whilst accelerating, not bad considering the RGV makes the wheelbase a lot longer. Should have the bracket in the next few days, so roll on the warmer weather. Ianboom
