tarozzi rearsets fitted, bit of a b*****d as they are designed to work with a drum brake so all the linkage goes the wrong way to operate a hydrolic master, bit of head scratching and hacksawing, welding and grinding and we are there! right until the point where i forgot about a return spring and the brake light switch, out with the welder and grinder again and i have finaly arrived ;D gear leaver side just bolted on!

got the rubber on today and had a phone call from gerry pell to say he will drop my crank off tommorow! engines all ready to drop the crank in with all new top end as well. just been trying to measure up for front brake lines but struggling a bit at the moment, i know from the splitter to the calipers is going to be stock rgv its just the one from the master to the the splitter.

will take some more pics tommorow, its moved on a bit since last post but its all the boring stuff, adjusting height of brake pedal so it doesnt hit exhaust, lining up chain to run straight which i'm sure i have sorted just need to nip to work tommorow and make a 3.5mm spacer, balanced all the carbs and then had to take them off because one of the floats stuck! carbon wrapped the bottom of the side panels and they look mint, proper modern, once i get the chain run right i am going to blead rear brake so i can then make a caliper stay bracket once i know its all in the right place, front brake lines are all on just need bleading and knowing what rgv brakes are like i'm not looking forward to that job, its a well known prob on the rgv forum.

Excellent build up,enjoyed watching the process very much, thanks for sharing! Really like the rear end changes, different but still sorta Yamaha looking... Those front calipers are huge!Regarding the rear caliper, shouldn't that hang down abit more or is that standard? You posed the question in the 'help advice' thread about the Tarozi's,was the link to the US forum regarding the Tarozi's/brake leaver any help? Can the same be applied?
