Hi my name is Alan I am 38 years old and live in Stourbridge in the west midlands.
I have just got me a MK1 RD 125 LC it is all there it has tax and mot and I am using it at the mow as my gsxr 600 is in bed for the winter.
The rd as got gold wheals and gold decals on did they do an mk1 with gold bits or was this done after.
The seat is blue and white and has lc on it.
The RD is on a A plate 1984 and every time I get on it I get a smile from ear to ear makes me feal17 agene .

I am going to completely strip her and rebuild her then just bring her out on very nice days
How much are nice ones going for not that I will let her go when she is done.
I am going to repaint her candy blue as this is the colour it is now.
Here are 2 pics of what she looks like at the mow but soon she will be like new.

Tidy 125's can go from 1k to near on 2k if all original with matching numbers

yep but if it dont go i will be very very happy
only put it on to keep the miss happy.
i do not think it will sell as rd,s do not do that good on e**y .
she says i have to stop speding but i need to spend big now on my dads gsx750e it is in a bad way at the mow.
fingers crost the rd will not sell but dont tell her in doors that will you
will put some pics up of the gsx750 when i get 5 mins just so you can have a look at it .
and i must stop looking at rd 250 and 350 lc or she will kill me.

I keep looking at 350lc's too :S They're sexy as!! looked like you did well with this one. I've got the exact same mini flashers on my LC but I've got the standard round ones at hand

Cheers I actually took the standard flashers off when I was 18 (bought a set of mini flashers at Stafford bike show... was all the rage back then honest! lol). Shes been a little neglected over the 7 or 8 years I've just had her stood. Even though its a little 125 and doesnt handle especially well (well mine doesnt lol), its still VERY fun to ride and love the looks I get on it.

keep looking at 350lc's aswell trying to locate my old one at the minute, sold it in 1996 hasnt been taxed since 1997 sat in a shed some where and it hasnt been scraped or writen off and no more owners since i sold it and the bloke works at the same place as my brother but ..... so do 3000 other people lol. so getting my brother to email all the depts and put something on the notice boards and see what happens ?
