thanks for that its nice when something is easy for a change.i have had the rd 400 for just over eight weeks now been all over the place but only in the dry. like your web site were you put the parts god knows. i live in rainworth just round the corner from you have you got the seal? i would like to come and get one. here from you soon. phil.
Hi Norbo, I am probably looking to buy a seat! I just took mine apart and I doubt I would be able to put it back together successfully. :-( Mine is a D model. Does the seat base have holes in it to attach the seat strips? How much is it for postage to Fife? I will most likely get some other bits too, but not sure exactly what yet! Cheers, Dawn.
its just a simple seal £3 and £1 post but you may need to look for pitting on the shaft if you replace the seal it will stop the leak but will start up again as the pitts in the shaft will keep destroying the seals
