This will be my next project seeing as my 4L0 is finished ;D Not going to go mad on this one (famous last words) but just going to use up some of my spare bits and put a YPVS motor in with KR1s front and rear ends! Probably have it in Blue and White as it is my second most fav lc colour ;D

whats up wiv that black tank m8,i need one them colours ;D Possibly fooked mate First of all the patch you see on top near the pet cap is a patch of paint that came away when I removed some duct tape so paint couldn't have adhered properly And to top it all off it is leaking underneath in two places even though I sealed the tank with POR15 Well pissed off as I paid good money for it

ouch :-/i know the feeling m8 is it easy enough to fit the kr1 yokes m8 oh yeah did i say,COPYCAT ;D Yep I have E-mailed the guy and although I don't hold up much hope it's worth a try Copycat!! what can I say you are a style icon ;D Not done the front end yet but it's either a stem swap or change of the bottom bearing and spacer! probably go the stem change route as it's neater Keep an eye on my progress The rear is going to be a bit harder! it's either a big modification on the swinger adding the top shock mount or welding some bracing onto the frame to utilize the original KR1S linkages

good luck with the project hope its another stunner (where do you get the time? and money?) Thanks Jamie I do a hour or two in the evenings when the kids go to bed now and then, and a day at weekends if I'm lucky! As far as money! I tend to sell so that I can finance the next project I would love to be able to keep all my projects but one, not enough room and two, not enough money ;D

Spent an hour on it tonight and no money ;D just mocking up and checking dimensions for the stem swap and removal of material from swinging arm pivots! looks like all I have to do is remove approx 3-4mm from either side of swinging arm pivots and maybe push bearings in 2-3mm ;D That's the easy bit

vin.... will u have to relocate battery and oil tank or is the clearance gonna be ok to keep them??? Not sure yet about the oil tank but hoping to keep the battery in the original place I may have to fabricate an oil tank ;D

vin if you warm up the tank eg a paint stripper to soften the plastic you could (mould) the tank to fit ...just be carefull not to set it on fire but sufficent heat will soften plastic to press and alter the shape...just an idea... And a good one mate

Vin, what garyrdrobbo suggested works ,done it with my oil tank ,i used a small blow torch though, and slowly heated and pressed till it fitted perfect, quite easy to do really, better than having to fab a new one mate. keep up the good work bud, Dave
