Did run, and ride, but the engine is currently on the bench in bits.
I'll get it rebuilt before I refit it, just to find out about this "big grin I'll get" after riding it.
The bike, is an 85 model - LC2, but has loads of F2 parts fitted as you can see, the exhausts, the forks, the foot hangers electrics all sorts, so it's a bit of a mixed bag.
The plan is to replace every nut and bolt in stainless and if it looks like a seal or bearing I'll bin them and buy new. I have acquired most of the parts for the rebuild, just waiting for the frame and swinger to come back from the powder coaters.
I like the original paint scheme but the plastic panels are quite badly cracked, lugs missing etc, so I've got some better panels in various colours and might go for a red with silver logo theme, based on a ducati, don't know yet.

Hi Guys,
I am thinking of selling the RD, as I want another enduro bike.
The bike is as shown in the previous pics, so basically a rolling chassis fully sorted wuth the brakes and electrics all done, the engine is partially stripped and in need of a rebuild, and the tank and plastics are partially primed and need painting etc.
Not a lot of work to get it sorted I have a box of NOS engine spares etc to rebuild the engine.
Only part missing is the nose cone.
All bolts etc are stainless as well as the caliper pistons, blah blah blah - only the best.
I have extensive records of the build and all receipts valuing £1800.
I would like to sell as a project for someone to complete, but will break and put on E-bay if can't get any serious interest (after giving you lot first dibs of course).
What you reckon?

Hi, Dissapointed with myself really, as the bike so far is well put together, but I have'nt touched it since August, and have a load of things coming up this spring and summer, so I can't see it being done until the end of the year even if I had a go at it. Missed my trail bike as well this winter, no mucky sunday fun for me, all my mates still have theirs so missing out a-bit. If I can't sell at a reasonable price I will hang onto it, theres no panic, just easier to persuade her in doors that I need a trail bike when I don't have an half finished bike in the garage - same old story! ;D
