the start of my first bike rebuild.she's a mk3 import with 000101 engine number.was going to put my own touches to her but now bein the bike she is i'm goin rebuild her back to her former glory.the tank an all bodywork is shot so new stuff when i can find it will be put on her.new forks aswell although rebuilding old ones aswell as a spare pair as i just got a mk2 to start rebuilding.having frame,swingarm an various bits done now at potteries powder coaters so i'll let ya know how they perform.Wheels to be done aswell along with full engine rebuild.Going be a long job but looking forward to it.pleasure an pain no dought lol.just a few pics to follow. the bike was on ebay 150576450552 but the pics make it look better than it was.no bodywork anygood tank fooked no brakes but there ya go. she will be bought back to her former glory though.

open a photobucket account. upload ur pics to the photobucket account from ur pc. under each pic in photobucket are 4 codes. the one that starts IMG copy and paste it into the box u type here in ur post.U can post as many codes as u like in one post. just make sure u hit the enter key after each one so they go under each other instead of next to each other

started on the cleanin process today.a good wash then a spray with trim polish restorer.makes a tidy clean job.then looked at wheels.mmm the alloy comes up great but looks as if the black paint is wearing thin.are these powder coated or spayed? Attachments:

nice yolk mate but i want this bike to look as it came out the factory. goin get me yolk powder coated.An as for me handle bars i got some nos for £30 whichi thought was ok. just waitin for gary off here to get back to me about some fork bottoms then i can really start to get her back together.

started the rebuild an goin great guns at the mo. nos fork everythin.cheers gaz for the bottoms an rad cover (top man).Shock on engine rebuilt and in nos light holder.new throttle cable fitted.wheels cleaned and painted with new tyres and new set of rear and front pads.nos wiring loom fitted(got a ypvs kit goin with my old but mint wiring loom if anyone intrested?).Got to sorce a new front lightnow so its comin to a stop again .hope the pics show whats goin into this rebuild. lots an lots an lots of cleanin but think shes comin on good for my first atempt......
