hi,ive stripped all the flakey paint off my barrel and tryed to clean up the original textured finish but having no joy,any ideas what might bring it up clean again?im thinking possably alloy wheel acid? i dont want it painted and dont realy want it polished although this might be the only way if i dont paint it. suggestions please? ps ive tryed autosol with a cloth.scotch brite and a tooth brush.

Vapor blasting leaves a very nice bare look

paint strip it n paint with PJ1 Satin black

idealy i do want a bare look but i dont want to send it off realy as ive waited neary 3 months to get it back from being tuned, has anybody used acid to clean them up?if not its going to have to be satin black,im thinking polishing it is a bad idea.

ive just ordered a can of black pji from ebay,i think id was black from new on the mk1 and 2's and bare on the mk3's so should still look nice and original.
