I think the original fuel tap is fine but you may wanna keep an eye on the hose ID. It looks like you already have a reasonable sized hose though so you're probably fine. Btw, looking at the pics of the split engine, I noticed the main bearings are the same size, (or at least very close) isn't the right hand bearing ID suppose to be smaller then on the left bearing? Maybe the crank shaft is thicker then a original 125 crank?

Hey grunt (Or whoever else can/want to answer..) i have a question. How do you go about putting the engine back together? On a single cylinder engine like this, I usually put the gearbox assembly into the right hand case and then put the left case over, but is it better to do the opposite on the RD engine? Any tips and hints to think about? PS: I'm not a complete nutjob when it comes to engines, but the 125 engine isn't very familiar yet, I've only taken it apart so far but it's getting time to put it back together again.

Hi billy. Manual says to lay left hand case down.......assembly gear parts/balance shaft/crank etc into left case then fit right hand case onto it (so clutch side is top)
