I was thinking the same, 6 pot kawasaki zx10 calipers and master cylinder, making some new hangers as we speak , pads aren't bitting on the discs properly , only around a third of the way on.

Knew I'd seen that before
Unfortunately for the wrong reasons when we seen it for sale ages ago
Your comment about the pads not biting on the whole disc face reminded me. I'd have a good look at the bracket on the rear caliper too
Not all bad but it made us worry about the workmanship on the build, I'd have a good look over all of it
Will be worth it in the end 👍

Thanks Steve, it's an interesting one, caliper brackets are definitely not right, I'll sort them no problem, other things seem to be done nicely, but I'm working through the whole bike until I'm happy. Removed most of the yellow blind today, caliper brackets being made, rear shock coming out and a fork inspection next on the list. Dave.

Easily fixed hopefully, but as Steve says if you can see from a photo a few dodgy safety faux pas, I’d be tempted to check it all out. Those pipes look to be made of zintec coated mild steel rather than titanium. Jon

Those are tsa exhausts. Either Zintec or Stainless steel are the only options...no Titanium. They are one of the best-performing exhausts, so worth keeping.

The other thing that needs "looked at" is the torque link from the rear caliper to the swing arm
Not sure if it has been changed from the earlier listing but looked like mechano

I'll go for a Nitron in the near future, they look like the best option iv seen so far.

Nitron are excellent, but have a look at Yss. Awesome value - around £150 cheaper than Nitron last time I looked - and they have a 2 year guarantee and are rebuildable. Lots of guys here are happy owners £150 buys a lot of other bits

To be fair, about 1/3 of the pad wipe is going to be all you need of the 6pots on that sized disk on both sides lol. Joking aside, the 6pots are a pita to bleed. we've discussed them a lot before, worth a search. Also might be worth seeking out the thread where this bike was discussed when it was being sold. may help with some things to look at. Please do make sure the mods are safe before you venture out. ie something like an actual meccano torque arm could actually kill you...

They are Alonze pipes not mine but yes they do look almost exactly the same so an easy mistake to make.

Nice one , I'll have a look back, see what I can find, I got the bike down in Plymouth, but I don't think the guy built it, that was my assumption, as he mentioned the caliper hangers. I'll definitely be stripping the rear end and having a good look, and sort any dodgy issues. Cheers. Dave. Appreciate all the comments massively.
