For comparison. This is mine and it is ported. Lovely work there. Who did it? This was done by Stan Stephen’s back in 84. He called it his F2 tune. Back then I had 34’s and Stans own pipes on it. Today and 15k miles later I’m running on standard carbs and muttsnuts mid range pipes. 58bhp on his dyno last year and good fun.

From your pictures and measurements they are a very good set of cylinders and much more desirable than standard in my eyes. They will be a good all round performance enhancement.
It could be a repair but i've seen welding performed on parts before the start of machining or fettling of the parts to keep it stronger or stop any breakthroughs.
Don't sell them as crappy cylinders.

As I said before, I'd stick a set of rings on the pistons, give the barrels a light hone and run with them, I imagine they'll deliver nice usable power and definetley be better than standard cylinders.

Nah, look rubbish mate, I`ll take em off your hands to save you the disappointment of trying to run them No, agreed, I`d have them over a set of standard any day.

I have got a set of good standard barrels now so I will probably try both and sell whichever I don’t want. What would be a sensible price to ask for the tuned barrel. Sensible answer please, I am not giving them away 😉

I think price wise there won't be much difference in value between standard and yours, just different people buying either type
If its any guide I won a standard pair 1mm over off ebay recently for £400
