This does look funny, but... its very real if youve travelled in modern times you'll have been asked this. Defo very late 2000's/twenty teens type question. One of the (older Aussie one, I think?) landing cards even tried to catch you out with two questions, one on the front and one on the back. One side asked if youre a terrorist and the other side it asked 'have you ever committed a terrorist act? Ie. same question, rephrased. EDITED: Cant find an image of said card online and we dont seem to ask people this now on entry to Aus it seems. But does make you wonder if anyone said 'yes' to this. I guess it didnt hurt to ask as we all know people are stupid and even if you catch one person out with this it'd be a huge win.

The visa waiver form you fill in on the plane on the way to the USA asks if you are travelling to the USA to carry out any terrorist activities. Having that foolproof method of preventing terrorists entering certainly reassured us.

Not good for the dyslexics amongst us....it looks very similar to "Are you a Tourist?"

Yep, well, we all know its one of the cool things about being a wrong un, its impossible to lie if youre asked a direct question.

I remember them handing the forms out on the plane about an hour before landing. They should have stopped the terrorists using this fool proof method before they boarded really. They might have thought ok the games up, we'll just blow the plane up instead. We went once and landed a year to the day after 9/11. A pretty good day to do something if that's your bag. I think you do it online now long before boarding.
