Lol, the way Dogs leap into cold water. They obviously have a good memory of how it feels, but it just doesn't bother them. Yes nothing like a cold swim on a frosty morning in January but they just love it❤️

This is Flora. She's a 3yo Mini AussieDoodle (Australian Shepard X Poodle). She LOVES the water and the ball, and is my best buddy. I take her everywhere. Cannon Beach ?

I'd chance my arm with Arnside (but it may be further round the coast).
No, bugger it. It's Arnside. Do I win a prize?
Oh, and I'd venture it's 12 noon and the wind's from the east.
The chippy across the road has just opened its door for lunch, to judge from the Spaniel.

Nemo is wondering if his tight arsed owner is really going to get fleeced at the chippy...... (too expensive for me ) Nemo is an Epagneul Picard (Picardy spaniel) a HPR (Hunt point retrieve, gundog) It was around 12 noon as well!! If I had a goldfish you would of won it

Something about dogs just makes me smile every time I reckon they are entwined with our history for many thousands of years.

Life is better with a dog about the place.
There seems to be a fair few spaniels / spaniel crosses on here.
Wonder what parallels can be drawn:
Smart, fast, always brings a smile to your face, top fun…. Sounds like an LC to me.
Maybe I’ll call my next one Elsie 🐾

From top left, clockwise: TK, Dorrit, Stinky, Megatron. We only used to have 3, but we got TK as part of the agreement where I got a motorbike. And now I have the engine in pieces on the dining room table. *Evil laugh*

We lost our Dog of 15 years Anya during the first part of Covid and as we'd always had rescue dogs and couldn't visit anywhere we waited to find a replacement for her. My mother in law does some charity work for a local animal shelter "Happier Days for Strays" and mentioned that they had an 8 month old puppy dog they couldn't rehome as he was "Big and Boisterous". We went to see him and he was at 8 months old a big lad but we loved him and his very attentive nature. He was nothing worse than badly trained by his previous owners as apart from being toilet trained knew nothing a dog at 8 months should. We took the plunge and now have had Vinny for a year, he's a different dog to the one that came home, well trained, obedient, loving and a bit bigger too. I named him Vinny Bones when we got him as he was terribly thin and boisterous and rough like Vinny Jones. He's a Kuvasz/Malinois cross hence his size. -gfzkaq by Rob Bennett, on Flickr
