Love those F4's, what's it like to ride. Always wanted one looks Beautiful. It is a true delight and to me, fooking awesome. I always wanted one as soon as they appeared in 1998. The howl from the induction is intoxicating, she looks beautiful, handles amazingly even after my short 16 years of ownership it still thrills me, they take a bit of commitment though and you have to really want one, the bars are low, seat is hard and your butt can roast on a hot day, but when its on there is nothing that matches the soul of these MV's. As anything Italian they can be temperamental if not fettled, its not a get on and ride fireblade/gsxr etc I have a VFR for 2 up and the lazy riding days and own the MV's for complete motorcycle ownership. They are just like the RD350F2 and Honda Mbx really only a bit more grown up lol. Brutale is as per its name, its nuts, lives on its back wheel and can honestly say its the only bike I have ever owned that wants to kill me every time I ride it, I arrive home heart pounding, sweating and totally alive and love it. Apart from that, its ok I suppose.

I took the Daytona out for a good run today and found this yellow beauty to park next to for a photo opportunity ๐ I did a few miles on Saturday, maybe five or six, sat behind a 'P' reg (1998) 355 on while I was out on my VFR800. He gave it a bit of stick a couple of times which was nice. It did blow a bit of smoke out when he booted it but they maybe do that? The mighty VFR had no issue sticking with him

My good lady has just picked up this 1994 Foxeye Blade for about the same price as a fooked 250LC project with no paperwork. Only 17k miles and every piece of history/MOt from new. Its a lovely thing.

Its a lovely thing. Doesn't that just sum up the idiocy of 2T prices!!! What a buy! Fantastic! Hope she enjoys it! Difficult decision eh? A well looked after old 4T capable of anything you can throw at it (with a build quality second to non) Or An old 2T that may be ok or a huge headache/ballache

Fitting a JMC swingarm to my Gsx 1100 efe. Such an iconic bike, there was one for sale less than 5miles away, was so tempted, but the last thing I need, is another bike

Sadly I will not be riding with the Distinguished Gentlemen this year. One reason is I'm not in the States and another one is I'm no where near distinguished enough Alex

Sadly I will not be riding with the Distinguished Gentlemen this year. One reason is I'm not in the States and another one is I'm no where near distinguished enough Alex Alex, The DGR is a global event that started in New Zealand and spread worldwide. Once a year riders unite to raise money for an excellent cause and more importantly have a good time with like minded folks. If you are in the UK there's 47 rides listed on the registration site Go on take part trust me we have had some dodgy punters whom are far from Distinguished show up all are welcome!

I had no idea! When the LC is running I will search out the next event. Alex Ypu will enjoy it if you do Meanwhile there's plenty of youtube videos from rides around the world Be warned its a rabbit hole you might dive into! The pictures I posted are from 2018 Hosted by Ducati Newport Beach and sponsored by Vans shoes who provided the mid ride stop and ended at the Monarch Beach resort a five star hotel hosting 400 riders Most expensive beer and bugers ever!
