I like honey in my tea,, and cream,,, posh lol 🤓 But is it honey?? And not the supermarkets exercising "pavlovs dog". (said dog is walked by political parties as there main form of exercise) Listened in to a lecture from a concerned French beekeeper who highlighted the damage that the cheap "honey" imported into Europe has had, and the knock on effect to honey producers here. Folks have become accustomed to £1 jars of crap, where as the real thing is anything from £5 and upwards for a jar. And heather honey can be much dearer. Honey is and always has been a premium product. It's a bit like the crank seals scenario.... genuine (genuine price) Vs pattern (cheap and no good) www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8973415/Supermarket-scandal-sees-honey-bulked-cheap-sugar-syrups.htmlPS I met a chap who produces tons of honey (10+) in a good year. He sells it to a company who all of you will have heard off (that is if you do the shopping) Whilst on a visit to their premises he noticed pallet loads of sugar. He asked what it was for, and an operative who was moving it around said "what do you think....." Nuff said. I sell my pure raw honey for $1/oz. A pint is $16, etc. I usually get around 10 gallons/1200oz off my two hives. I probably sell about half and consume and give the rest away. Propolis tincture goes for much more. I give it away to friends, but have sold a few 2oz vials for $30 each 🤣🤣

To be honest I the honey I get is just of the shelves and it's probably like coke have a million other ingredients, but it's nice, not that I like or know coke by the way just an example, so I honestly can't say I've had 100%pure honey, I'm probably missing out,, I've had honey mead from lindasfarne as I lived just down the road once over and that's pure honey they say and that stuffs lush,,, will have to aguaire some puff stuff but not keen on bees they sting lol,,
