Started this a few weeks ago, I had a roller in boxes for a few years, Missing the engine, Picked up a very low mileage engine for a great price, Carbs are bored out to 31.5mm, Mark Dent filters. Fitting XJR1200 front forks and yokes, they are the same offset as the gamma, I did revalve and respring them and added spacers to the tops to make them work, Using an FZr400SP wheel so I can keep the OEM speedo. Braced back swingarm with a GSXR750RR wheel with a 170 tyre. Brembo brakes up front, JL pipes and a bunch of other goodies..

Are you doing anything to the engine?

Are you doing anything to the engine? Nope. Not on this one. Stock cylinders etc. just waiting on Dents carbon rotary valves and billet covers. That’s it.

I bought the billet covers he told me not to bother with the carbon valves as I never got it tuned

Down the road I might tune it, They are a lot easier engine to tune compared to the Yamaha's, Just future proofing

Got the front Brembos fitted, This was pure out and out luck!!! I ordered the brake caliper brackets roughly 2 years ago to fit the brembos to my other RG500, Whats the chances they fit the XJR1200 front forks with perfect spacing for the Brembos on the Ducati discs fitted to and FZ400RR SP wheel, Thats a pure fluke!!!!!!!! Just had to use 2 washers on both side just to space them a little better on the discs...
