Hello folks, My name is Iggsy and im a recent new member to the forum. I was kindly introduced by a font of all working lc knowledge, the world famous "Dusty" Looking to improve the existing 350lc build that i have, can i ask...does anyone know of how and where i can get my hands on a compatible set of white faced clocks/dials please? Ive seen them on a number of 350s and like the way the look in bringing the view from the seat more into the later 80's early 90's as opposed to 1980/81🙂 Any infornation therefore, would be really appreciated. Thanks....kind rgds. Iggsy

Hi mate You made it then !! Welcome to the forum. You'll soon become addicted ! I spend more time here than the garage Are the clock faces for the Lc or Pv hybrid ? There are a few threads detailing how to strip the clocks apart. Probably in one of the build threads on your bikes, but if you cant find them, I will link them for you Hope your team are all well Dusty

If fitting decals make sure you remove all traces of the original clock faces as they show through when dark and the lights are on

Try to get the actual dials if you can because of the afore mentioned no lights at night scenario. Dusty? Dusty Bin? All I can think of... Alex

I think Simon Wells does replacement faces which do allow light through. Not sure what colours/styles are available. Stick on faces are the next best option.

I've done a load of lc2 Speedos with decals
You can get them to back light
Don't blacken out the old face like some do, soak in meths and you will be left with clear plastic faces
I used to spray the rear transparent yellow to get them to back light like the originals
If you are going to use white dials then you are not looking for the digits to show through anyway
The small amount of light glowing through the white face and the light cast in from the white case sides should make them visible at night
