To balance my wheels I usually use the spin the wheel and lodge weights on the opposite end of the heavy spot on my wheels to balance same
I have now seen a product called Dyna Beads which you inject into the tyre valve which will balance the wheel and keep it in balance.
Any thoughts on this method?
thanks

Ive seen them over the years and generally heard good things. Does the mfr say they are ok in tubes?

I put new road riders on last year and as with all my tubed bikes (and push bikes) I put gloop in the tubes. This actually stops you from balancing the wheel on a static wheel balancer. Saying that whilst out on my tubed bikes I haven’t noticed anything untoward. I guess with centrifugal force it evenly distributes itself around the inside of the tyre?

With motorcycles, I've read/heard conflicting views about using such stuff, some say it unbalanced their wheels. I dunno what to think, like the idea of Bikeseal etc but not sure if that would cause vibration/balance problems??

I don't go fast enough to find out if my wheels need balanced or not...

Slime is wonderous stuff. Does tend to make static balancing problematic.
Not an issue.. IF.. one balances Before putting in Slime. Also the stuff needs a top up ~ annually

Ive used dynabeads in various landrovers over the years. Cant fault them the have balanced some big ugly mud tyres that the pros couldnt! Think you can use with tubes but you need the small beads and the get stuck in the valves when inflating/deflating tyres.
