I like it but there is something weird about that main picture. Bike looks about 2 feet longer than it actually is. The large cans, lack of hugger & mudguard and that big flip at the back of the seat shouldn't make it look like that. In the last pic the front wheel looks to be miles away from the radiator. It just doesn't look right ? Is it badly sized pictures or the bike

As a non LC officianado, it looks very typical of loads of LC hybrids that I see every year..... i think it looks ok 😳

Don't get it 🤔
Majority like it, some not keen but mostly due to not liking the rgv rear and the length it ads
The usual banter between the LC and YPVS engine brigade (easy to solve, if you like a 30hp surge at 7k then build a sorted YPVS motor - best of both 😁. This from the guy that has never ridden an LC 😳)
Joining a forum and waiting 10 years before making your first 2 posts and having a go at people in them, very strange
Think nibbs has either been on the sauce or he has bigger problems in life stressing him
Steve
P.S. I quite like it 😞, I'll get my coat

When such a swing arm is used, changing the wheelbase etc, how does the bike handle compared to standard? That would be my main concern,...overall I like the look of it too.

Handling for me was different so much so that I sold it within a few months of building it, it’s not an lc but again it’s all personal taste lots here don’t like my 80’s repro special. Said it before the whole joy of this forum is the diversity of bikes, builds and owners. Steve you’re a virgin 😵

Jack the back end up an inch and add some proper pipes and it would be perfect, just my opinion.

Now look at the one in front of the sea and it seems longer than an oil tanker, but maybe the sea does that with all bikes?

Compare these 2 pics. of my hybrid. 1 looks like a barge, the other looks like it's been front ended. It's OK I know I'm now arguing with myself !!! IMG_9773 by Philip Mellor, on Flickr IMG_9141 by Philip Mellor, on Flickr
