Mark Walker, who has a Facebook page, and is Martek Engineering, is proposing building swingarms and complete frame kits for powervalves and Lc's. If you are familiar with Martek, they build some stunning bikes. He posted yesterday regards any interest in a gull/banana arm for an Lc. Cost around £600; 81979731_1186384721566176_8828240010604969984_n[1] by dusty miller, on Flickr The frame kits comprised of a beam frame, tank, shock, linkages, adjustable headstock, rearsets, pivots and yokes, battery box etc etc. I know a few guys here are showing interest on the Facebook page. Nothing to do with me, but any specials builders that aren't on Facebook, it may be of interest Dusty

We will hopefully have some prices available in the next few days. The idea for the frame kits is to use a production front and rear end which will keep the cost down. This will then be upgradeable over time to a handmade swing arm, billet yokes etc should you wish to go down that route.

There goes some of my old mans inheritance 😁, be interested to see the final look, when you say beam frame is it an extrusion or does it mirror the swing arm?

I hope this gets off the ground. Also Guy Martin's bike has probably had a big effect.

I'd like to see pictures of just the swingarm attached to a 4LO frame/bike, how does it change the overall look of the bike I'm thinking.

A batch of gullarms similar in style to the picture at the top of the page will go into production for either LC or YPVS at the cost of £750. They will fit standard or RGV wheel. if you would be interested in putting your name down for one please let me know.

I saw the swingarm price but didn't /couldn't see the price of the frame kit. Just had another look through the Facebook post and it's not there ? £15 -1800 seems a bargain considering what's included Dusty

I wonder does this keep the LC swingarm length, A lot of the conversions make the LC look really long..

I Modified a YBR swing arm mainly because it looked good and was reasonable affordable but when in the bike it all looked wrong-wheel centre and mudguard centre just looked wrong.

This morning the swing arm for the Rd was £600??? I am a bit confused. So the swingarm was £600 & now £750 So is it now £750 as posted above or £600 as on Facebook yesterday posted by the guy that makes them? Or are these different swingarms. looks like some ones adding some fat to the joint
