Hi folks, this summer, I have received an email "Donation of a RDLC 350" and now I have it in my garage !!! The generous donor preparing for his move / retirement wanted to give this bike to an enthusiast (and not to an opportunist who would have sold it on ebay). Not liking computers, he mandated his wife to find a passionate person on the web and she came across my website (www.rd350lc.net) 😃 The motorcycle has not been driven since 1997 and has been stored in a wet garage. it is a 31K of '83 "matching numbers" but with the complete '84 bodykit. It is complete 'with papers "V5", keys), the tank is new with internal antirust treatment. Motor not blocked. There is a small steering damper attached to a leg welded to the frame. Light corrosion of frame, wheels, pipes (but good condition only 2 small dents), seized brakes. I am the 3rd owner. The bike display 20,000 km (but has a bit more). There is no ignition, it's why it has been stored and never repaired. Last time she was driven was at the TT in '97 Xavier

I think that is great, and it's well deserved. I've used your webpage for years, and referred people to it, and appreciate it must be a real labour of love. Nice to see that your hard work is recognised.

Thanks guys for you comments on my website ! It's a lot of work but I still enjoy to complete it and search for new information / documents. I agree this bike is as a reward ! I will do a restoration as OEM but I will keep the '84 color scheme because I prefer it than the '83 and since the fuel tank is almost new it would be a shame to paint it !
thanks
Xavier
