Yea, genuine Yam are £105 !! Wish I'd bought a couple of Norbo's when he had them - they were/are great quality and perfect fit and a fraction of the price. Dusty

I read on the AC forum a fella used a Slinkyglide cable for his aircooled from Wemoto with good results. May be worth a look. Dusty

I had a venhil PV cable that had a nipple come off. :/ I had Motion Pro in the USA copy a NLA choke XL500R cable for me, right PITA to get them to do it how I wanted and costly. And... it wasnt anyway near as good as an OEM one. My advice is to pay up for the new LC one, at least you know it works properly. The bits you touch are your interaction with the bike; throttle, clutch, brakes, gearchange etc. Dont skimp on those parts and you'll enjoy your bike more. LCs have risen in value considerably the past few years, the OEM isnt cheap but its not impossible to find and wont mean you overcapitalise on your restoration. Until Norbo gets some more in (hes not said he can tho) buy a new OEM one, that's what I always do.

My TDR is still running the 30 year old OG stock cable.
No reason a new OEM cable shouldn't outlast the owner at this rate.

Lots of stuff not on the site yet, so if you cant see what you want, give Chris a call and if he hasn't got what you need, chances are he'll be able to get it
