Bought this in 2017 from DK (USA import) just needed a sympathetic restoration/recommission, most of the finish is original. Runs and rides great. A nice alternative to the 2 strokes..

Nice looking bike. Ive got one too. 1974 K5. Built like a tank and good for cruising around on. Has never let me down.

That's me on the yellow powervalve behind you. Yes a real bike I have also had 2 SOHC 750 Hondas, I quite liked them, apart from the dry sump carry on.

yes they are nice bikes... quite big and heavy, a million miles from the 2 stroke yams but still good fun. I like the dry sump setup, topping up and level checking is dead simple... Best thing about them is the sound with a 4 into 1 short pipe... awesome. The K5 looks to be in top condition Ken

Its not hard to how this bike took over from the British bike industry. Stunning bikes. I do like british bikes but can you imagine having a Norton or Bonneville and seeing a CB750 for the first time.

And being told by the press they were jap crap 😁 I grew up with bonnies last one my old man bought was a nearly new t140e/v ( my older brother still owns it 1979 bought in 1980)dad had previously worked at Meriden on the rectification line so knew what he was doing, I remember he was persuaded to buy a gs750 and he never went back the biggest revelation was when he bought an early 16in vfr he’d always sworn he’d never touch a ‘ f**kin Honda what a surprise that was he loved it. Build quality, reliability, speed handling etc etc etc

AND electric start. No oil leaks. etc... Im afraid we were worst enemy with regard to British manufacturing both car and bikes. Shoddy workmanship, strikes and complacency that what we made, was world class.
