Hi everyone I’m in the process or rebuilding my lc2 forks While stripping the forks both forks had a spacer in the top,according to the Haynes manual lc2 forks don’t have spacers and any tips when rebuilding the forks ie tools .

No spacer but they are commonly fitted
Usually 10-20mm
Back in the day we used to pop 2p's in. 6 each side, best 24p mod ever 🤣
Same as dismantelling the bottom bolt tightens better with the spring and fork top fitted
Only "special" tool I use I'd about 2 foot of abs pipe from b and q with one of the glue in straight couplers on the end with some slots cut in it so it can squeeze slightly smaller that I use for driving the seals in

When I did my best to set a pair of LC2 forks up I ended up with 14 mm spacers used with progressive springs. Make unknown. You can read about it in my thread

Think so Its the bigger of the 2 drain sizes And it's the glue together type as the poly stiff is smaller and too soft to whack with a rubber mallet Steve

Haynes manual and a kitchen jug,mind and give it a good wash before you put it back
