Could someone measure a good powervalve for the sizes that the bush and the seal run on please. I am looking at making a steel sleeve and new bushes to repair the valves when worn. Thanks

IF sleeving the valve bearings/surfaces, then it's simple to ream the Bushes to fit the sleeves Doesn't matter what precise size the OEMs were when new. Does it?

I could ream the bushes to fit but reckon it would be better to make new to remove any wear in the groove that the locating plate fixes in. Also want to get the correct diameter for the castle seal to run on so that I can just buy new, genuine Yamaha seals.

Does anyone know what the ID of the bushes are and the OD of the valve, or what clearance there should be between the two. Any info greatly appreciated. Thank Steve.

Thanks guys, that’s a very useful link. I like the idea of the different locating plate on the link from the link if that makes sense. Think it’s Italian but shows some good pics.👍
