Hi guys just asking where the needle sits when at temp on your bikes mine seems to like sitting pretty much with the needle in line with the white line that makes a cross so about half way, sometimes creeps up just above the line when on the open road but seems to drop back to the white line in town. Not using coolant and running ok maybe a little rich on the pilot screws. Bike is a 83 350YPVS .75 over new bore done 420km all stock apart from running 51L 250 pipes till I can find a tidy usable set of 350 cigars. Cheers Jason

Your bike will not perform properly on 51L 250 pipes, they are the wrong design for the 350
many have tried but unfortunately failed

The internal stingers on the 51l pipes are very small
In fact I had a pair that were near enough blocked
If you take the silencer off and look up the chamber you will see a plate with 2 thin tubes passing through it
Too small a stinger will cause a bit of heat
I fitted them to a 350 and it had good bottom end but wouldn't rev over 8500
Was very rich too
