Oh Jesus!
There should be a reducing bush bonded into the rgv sleeve to reduce it to the lc spindle diameter
I would not trust anything on that bike now

That is shocking !
To build it like that you must be a f**kwit but to sell it on to someone else is criminal !

Agree with morgy I would be going over that with a fine tooth comb, I wouldn’t trust anything on it.

Just goes to show you unless you know and trust the builder or the bike has receipts from a reputable builder always check everything. At least youlll know it’s been done properly.

Hi just an update on chain hitting frame/tyre, ok now swinging arm is fitted with spacer and refitted into frame nice and tight all wheel aligned up and looking good, also checked from centre of spindle to wheel spindle both sides. Front sprocket now needs to be smaller by 3mm, this I achieved by laser and fishing line, now have 12.6mm clearance between frame and centre and the same on the tyre to centre

Hopefully all sorted soon as I spoke to Nigel (no) went through everything and measurements from the sprocket shaft, now have a new spacer coming for ypvs and I think it’s a 9mm offset sprocket coming, 👍

Getting there slowly :-)
The fan will only be of benefit when sitting in traffic, as the airflow from moving along will be far higher than the fan can produce.
