Hi all
I'm sure a smilar thread will have done before, but what 2stroke oil do the YPVS guys use, I've seen some castrol oil say it's low smoke oil, would that be better for the YPVS engines as it may help stop gunking the power valves up, or do you think it won't make much difference, I personally like a 2 stroke to smoke. Cheers

It's a 2 stroke, it will smoke lol
Any modern semi synthetic or fully synthetic oil will cause a lot less carbon and be a million times better than the crap we used to use back in the day

Yep
You get a lot of expensive oils but they all have the same jaso number
Good value quality stuff on eBay at around 20 quid for 5 litres
I'll get a link

Another vote for the Exol stuff, I bought a 20L drum because I knew that I'd be using my LC almost every weekend at least.

Jaso FD will also smoke but gives less coke at my valves. But over jetting and city rides will make it worse.
