I have used Ramair in the past but not that impressed with them , so what do other folks use ?
It's in an LC so not that much room is there but would like maximum sized filters

Can't use a airbox? Just don't use closed end filters, all foam ones are best.

One fell apart on me as well, i got a pair made up to my spec in a motocross shop. I also had a choice of colours for the foam. They are as tough as old boots compared to the Ram air filters

I run the Uni Filter NU-4060ST filters on my bikes, I also fit a K&N outerware, keeps them clean..

Years ago Proven that the oem Airbox produces Mo' power than add on filters.. certainly so on other than Dedicated Race only engine setups. Carb/intake Access to a Still Air plenum is the underlying reason allegedly

Some of the Uni filters come with an angled mounting rubber, so you can tip the filter 15 degrees away from a frame tube or other obstruction. That would be good for my Café racer build as normal foam filters would get a bit squashed against said tubes. Haven't found a Uk stockist yet - surely someone must do them over here ? Dusty
