Now this is not a speculative request to sell a bike as A its not mine and B its not for sale Mate has had a F1 for well over 20 years, all original, only 3.5k miles, part of his "retirement fund " was speculating on its real value, and being a F1, and therefore not a real LC (lol) I've no bloody idea, so what's the ballpark these go for these days I will say (and I've told him this) that it probably needs crank seals after not being run in all that time..

Ceiling price seems to be about 6k so maybe 7k to the right collector But it would need to be mint

Think Matt's hit it on the head there
I've seen fully restored bikes that won't sell at 6k
The benefit of your mates one is the 3500 as long as it can be backed up
So many restored bikes have been clocked or have new speedos so there has to be a back story
As long as it's been stored well and in really nice condition 6-7k should be ball park
If not then it's 4-5k if tidy

one on gumtree for 7k but he is in cloud cookoo land a half decent one 4k a nice one 5k
