hi there, looking at upgrading the front brake. The blue spot r6 calliper fits, this needs a adapter does it also require the r6 disc?
cheers hjw

Blue spot fits with an adaptor bracket
It uses the standard rd disc

Adapter bracket can be purchased from NK Racing or other sources.

Great I have a pair on order. Got a pair of blue spot callipers on the bay. Just going to use one at present but have the option now to upgrade to twin up front in the future
Thanks for your advice

Blue spot callipers arrived and seam to be in very good shape, so a quick strip and clean will do

If you are only running one caliper, I would suggest using a YBR125 front master cylinder which is 11mm bore.

Let me do the math(s).
5.5 x 5.5 X 3.14159265359 = 95mm2 for one 11mm master cylinder
So would need roughly 190mm2 for twin discs
sqr(190/pi) = 7.7mm radius, which equals 15.4mm diameter. 5/8" = 15.875mm so that would be nearest, so a standard 4L0 master cylinder it is! :-)
