I thought Nikkons were made in GB. I’ve a set here for a 500. Never got around to fitting them. Went a different route.

Made in the UK. I think they were re vamped a few years back and started re making the exhausts. They have a Facebook page - Nikkon 2stroke Exhausts, but the website address doesn't work for me ? Dusty

Nikkon went bump a few years ago. 2 guys bought all the pipe designs and did a new startup (in the UK). I have a set on my NSR. Well built but they coated the mild steel in heat resistant lacquer which makes them look like they have been dipped in snot. Work quite well (considerign how good the std pipes are) but stop the motor dead at 11.5k (so good for my crank but not top speed). Very very light and they give a fruity sound without being too loud. Good price with short end cans, and different from the usual replacements.

I had old Nikkon pipes on my 3XV and they did not make any extra power over the standard pipes, but did save a lot on weight. Was getting 38hp with these on. Changed to TSA pipes and went up to over 50hp. Nikkons got sold :-)
