I dont learn!!! Picked up this beauty in Louisiana, Its a runner and matching numbers which is a start, Going to give the engine a full rebuild, Not taking any chances, Porting and squish fixed, Has a set of 30mm carbs on it so I might re-use them with pod filters, Kinda torn between rebuilding it as a stock bike or a hybrid... I would fit as close as possible swingarm length, Not an RGV arm, They look wrong, makes the bike really long and low looking, I'm thinking FZR250 front and rear, Decision time......

That's not bad, still got a lot of the standard parts even though it looks like an ex race bike. I haven't seem a Pirelli Phantom, for a good few years now either

I very much doubt those carbs are going to work well at that angle?
Are there any stand brackets at all?

Thats what I wondered, It fires up... He reckons he raced with them on there for a few years and no prob!!! No stands or brackets, He cut off the side and main stand brackets for weight,,,, He even drilled the steel supports on the frame in places for weight!!!!!

Brilliant basis for a build, looking forward to seeing this being brought back to life.
