Been trying a few out and getting good results in terms of being able to get neutral using Comma Eurolite Semi Synthetic Car engine oil. Was recommended by a friend who uses this in ZX10 sidecar engines with no issues on the clutch side. I have used it in my Fireblade too.
Just ordered 5 litres from GSF for £16.98 delivered using code END60 :-)

Using coma mineral ATF in mine, makes the tranny real light, not sure of the long term conceqences but in an auto box you have he same roller and needle bearings and friction plates, on top of that they operate at far higher pressure than a Yam box.
Yess but Auto transbox bearings are of a higher spec than Any yama fitted 30 years ago.. Let alone today. ATF works, but is perhaps long term risky, at least in terms of accelerated bearing and Non bearinged :-) areas wear.
