I spent most of the day working on LC rebuild
but then dragged My golden Super rocket out for a ride.
she was her normal bugger to start, until I reset the points
then she ran like a dream. and it is a pleasure to ride, as long as you remeber the gears are on the right and upside down

You didn't mention the brakes.
I occasionally ride a mates A65. The gears I can just about cope with, but the brakes....

You didn't mention the brakes. I occasionally ride a mates A65. The gears I can just about cope with, but the brakes.... Ha ha yeah they are not great the back pretty good but the front takes one hell of a squeeze
to get any thing to happen.

Lovely bike buddy. Got the same coordination challenge when I take the commando out. RH change and 1 up 3 down (racing pattern). As for the brakes well,,,, I upgraded them otherwise I would have ended up shortening the wheelbase significantly. Get an electronic ignition fitted as well. Starts much easier and runs a lot better too. Enjoy.
