Well i finally got around to getting my 4LO hybrid on the dyno and sorting the jetting. The man who goes by the name of MuttNuts provided the dyno time and jetting. We have gone from 380 mains down to 340. I always knew she was set up rich! She is so much crisper now, Dave was a star and everything was done while i watched, like an expectant father! We ended up with 66RWHP (tuned engine, 31k carbs, pod filters, v force reeds and Mark Dent pipes) which i am pretty pleased with and a very crisp feeling engine, she was not bad before but after Dave did my 31k Hybrid she was beginning to feel a bit woolly! Also, while up at Dave's i did something which i have always wondered about, what does my hybrid weigh??
Any guesses?? About 3/4 of a full tank, oil and coolant, without seat or side panels
YEP, 132.2 kilos!! I'm amazed and pleased, there is more weight to loose if i feel like it, but i thought it would be much heavier with the RGV front and rear ends!

I'm guessing that Dave made a full recovery then. Good news. Nice bike too.

Nice Bike and nice result. The weight is not to shabby either. I like that Dave weighs the bike if you like, but thats only half the story. I think Dave should have a chart like they had on top gear with the combined weight of bike and owner divided by the Max PK.

I was with you with the weight/power chart till I read the bit "including the rider" and I'm now out 🍔🍟🥧🍩🍪🍫🍺 Steve

I was just looking for Yamarks 550 thread when i saw this. Not so long ago i weighed an LC250 wheel with tubeless BT45 tyre, sprocket and NO wheel spindle and brake drum assembly and it weighed 14 kg.
I think my complete light weight assembly including 165 rear tyre was 7.5 kg or lighter. I was surprised how heavy the LC rim was. I like the approach veg made with his 18 inch rims.

Thanks tony I remember the combined weight front and rear of std lc wheels no discs tyres etc is over 20kg mine were less than 3kg. Huge savings to be had.
