Hello everyone i’m Having troubles with my bike. It was running smooth when it suddenly stopped and didn’t restart. I can’t get a spark since then. I checked the connection and measured the resistance of the stator wiring. This is wat I found: - brown/black 241 ohms; - red/ brown 6.4 ohms; - white and red / black 91.4. According to the values I founds they should be ok. Checked the ignition coli and it’s ok ( high and low voltage). So now I really suspect a faulty CDI. Any suggestion would be appreciated before I buy a replacement. Found a tread where someone “added” an earth and solved a similar problem. What does it mean exactly? Many thanks, Ugo.

id check the ignition barrel, kill switch and side stand switch. if its none of those then check ignition system starting with the pulse sensors and work my way up the system, checking values, and also checking all the connectors are actually connected. sometimes even though they are plugged in fully, the wire terminals inside arent actually connected, or barely connected and have come loose through vibration of riding all day.
