Im not sure why leather is a good thing, its not going to like any rain. They also state that you put it over your old cover in the advert, thats going to be a bit crap if the old cover has any piping etc. I'd avoid it. Plenty of other covers available, Norbo sells em too...

Thanks Jon definitely wouldn’t have put it in the rain, and talking about putting it over the original seat is pants and suspicious that it’s not made to give a great fit maybe. Yep I’m moving on from that one. Cheers Dono

The wording on the image seems to state it’s just the cover, and not the whole seat as pictured. The wording in the advert states cover where I think it should say seat? Jon

Jon With so many other options out there and this being leather, why take the chance? I hear what your saying. Leather isn’t the best material for a bike seat. However for a pampered ride only in the dry it may add a bit of luxury. In reality there’s not much to go wrong on an LC seat cover as it’s just a flat bit of material. It’s fitting it that a can make all the difference (poor stitching aside). Jon

That looks good. Well done. Thanks jonw really pleased how it came out. I read on here that it was as hard as tank decals, but found it a hell of a lot easier and also really satisfying :-)

Nah, trimming is much easier I reckon. Tank decals are so easy to ruin. Seats are good as you can redo if needed. Warm weather and sun helps with Vinyl, I assume with leather too.

What is interesting is that they chose to do the front of the seat cover differently than ever other cover Ive seen for our bikes. usually there is a stitched panel across the front which I tend to hook the base/foam into and then staple under a little tension and then move to the back. Getting the center line in the process, and then work out from there. Its also interesting they made the top of multiple panels with a join in the middle thats different too, maybe their leather isnt in big sheets. I will say that it does look pretty neat, especially for a first go. Adds a posh element etc

Hi Jonw, yes it does have the panel to the front as you describe. And this was my starting point also as you describe. Unfortunately the cover was not tought maybe due to the cover being too larger the new foam being too short.. PK who supplied the foam also supply a small piece of foam to be glued to the front of the seat foam if it’s too short., I glued this to the front however it was a less dense foam.. this may have been the problem or just the seat cover, I’m not sure however the line of the seam was not pleasing or tight enough for my liking so I stretched the front even more so that the seam dropped lower... not the perfect result but at least I’m super happy with the rest of it..

Cool, good thought process, I'd have done much the same I reckon.
Interestingly, Some of the aftermarket foams come with a filler piece like you got with the cover.
